Miss Reed's 7th Grade classes Skyped with author Paula Young Shelton from Washington D.C. She spoke to the classes about what life was like growing up as a "Child in the Civil Rights Movement" (her book title). The students were well prepared by Miss Reed with a very in depth list of questions...the first question asked?... What was one of your most memorable experiences as a child...her response is in discussed HERE and speaks about being at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's funeral.
