Miss Wiebe's 5th Grade Olympic Project

 Miss Wiebe's 5th graders recently studied the Olympics.  Each student completed an in-depth project on the history of the Olympics, the history of a country in the Olympics, an athlete, and a specific sport.  Students used Edmodo to download the assignment and Pages to complete the assignment.  Research links could easily be found in Miss Wiebe's digital livebinder.  Olympic apps were downloaded on the iPads for students to access as well as nbc.com for live olympic results.  Students also created an final Olympic project by using Prezi, Keynote, or PowToon.  The students then competed in their own Olympics!  View a student's PowToon at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFvVarA9rxQ.
